Meet the founder "Shayno"
Shayne Sutherland is the founder of Surf Camp Down Under and SCDU Corporate, and the driving force behind one of Australia’s most respected surf and development programs. From humble beginnings, Shayne built Surf Camp Down Under into an award-winning business, recognised as Australia’s Best Surf School in 2025.
With 20 years of experience coaching a diverse range of individuals, from school groups and travellers to corporate executives, Olympic athletes, and world #1 adaptive surfers—Shayne brings a unique ability to connect, inspire, and elevate performance. His approach blends surfing, mindset, and real-world communication to create powerful, lasting impact both in and out of the water.
